The "Amelis DM" is a network-compatible meter reading system that connects to various meters such as water, electricity, gas, hot water, and thermal energy, allowing for energy cost management. Data can be viewed on a browser via a LAN port connection. There are two connection methods: the "star method," which connects directly to a central reading panel, and the "bus method," which connects via terminal transmitters. The bus method can manage up to 900 meters.
